Maree as an artist
The art is abstract symbolic. The image of Gabriel seen here appeared to her after a serious road crash. Maree set about re creating the vision alongside 50 other vibrant art works. An art historian visited the gallery and wrote the following to Maree “I dropped in on the Byre Gallery and was enthralled . She said “they left me moved and enthralled, this is a talented artist, her work reminds me of Marc Chagall.”
