It is difficult to find the right words to fully express how extraordinary Maree is, but I will do my best.
Working with Maree, both in person and virtually, has completely transformed my life. From the very first session, I felt a shift that I had never experienced before. “The Harvest always Comes”
Reading this debut novel by Maree Deeley, well known as an International therapist and artist, has re kindled my love of reading. From the beginning the authors use of the written word to paint pictures of her characters, their locations and their lives and loves captivated me. I read The Harverst Always Comes last thing at night in the peace and quiet of the evening and the pages leapt out at me making it difficult to put the book down, when I wanted to see the next steps and the stages of the characters relationships as they unfolded.
In Aberdeen a city I know well I could follow Felicity’s route as she drive through Granite city to visit her Mother and her friends, not a word wasted. As an established artist the authors writing gives a vivid picture of the narrative throughout the book , and her artistry is further confirmed by her painting of the novels cover. Slip this novel into your overnight bag or holiday packing and catch up with Felicity and Richard when you are relaxing in your hotel or on the beach. You will want to catch up with what happens next wherever you are! Who is the innocent victim who is the murderer, the abuser, the lover? You may want to skip ahead, but don’t. Is the ending to be feared or enjoyed? And like the harvest, the ending Always comes. I can’t wait to read Maree’s next novel.

This is a wonderfully written book which once you start reading you will not be able to put down! A rollercoaster of emotions from toxic relationships, romance and murder, just leaves you wanting more!
